In this Episode you will learn how to say «Monday» in Russian and a very famous Russian phrase about this day of the week, the meaning of which is «Monday is a hard day».
«Понедельник» (puh-nye-dYEl’-neek) is «Monday» in Russian.
«Monday is a hard day» sounds like (puh-nye-dYEl’-neek tye-zhOH-ly-y dYEn’) «понедельник – тяжёлый день».
And you will hear one small word: «не». «Не» means «not» and is pronounced like (nYE).
